LOSING SOMEONE YOU LOVE

When we lose a loved one
A part of us dies also.

For as much as the one you loved
did not belong to you...
your heart belonged to them.
You were entwined with one another.

You wonder... how shall I walk
in this world.. a world that...
no longer holds those footprints
of my loved one.

You will wonder
how can this world can go on..
when your world has stopped.

In the language of tears...
You wiil speak to your loved one...
as your heart tries to comprehend...
what it cannot.

But wait... the power of love
will give you comfort.

In the hearts of those who love you...
and surround you with their caring hearts...
love can be found.

Friends who have been in
your place of sadness...
will be there
for you now.

Your grief will become your traveling companion...
the part of you...
that is strong... deep, and compassionate.

Peace will come
to you again
as you accept the mysteries
that are a part of life.

In time this veil of sorrow will lift...
and you will realize
what is most sacred
is the love we share
with the ones we love.

Soon... peace will come to
your heart...
and you will know...
that this love...
is an eternal
gift.

Love lives forever!

Marza McCarthy

My good friend lay in a hospital bed in Portland Oregon
and she is not coming home. Marza McCarthy went there with the advice
from doctors that she would have five to ten years to
live if she did the surgery.

CANCER

I seen what she looked like after the first surgery and wished
I had not. With her face the size of an official basketball and blood
running from her nose and mouth, it hurts for me to see my friend lay helplessly and not a thing
I could do for her.

Marza has had four surgeries since 3/12/09 the last
earlier today. Doctors ask the family if they wanted to pull the plug
as the surgery only gives her a week to lay painlessly. Damn you Doctors anyway
for taking my friend and having her and her family go through this. The pain the
tears from the people that love Marza.

I don't think she will ever know how much she is loved no thanks to advice from
doctors.

At 77 years old she is a mother of 4 grandmother of 10 and great grandmother
of 18. Marza loved doing Pen & Ink drawings of lighthouses around the Northwest.
She was never one to brag about her drawings, in which took anywhere between
90 to 120 hours for each one. Without a mistake these drawings are without
flaws.

I ask for prayers for my friend from readers of my blog
for
Marza McCarthy

God bless you for taking time to read this
